Maria from the Silent Hill 2 remake has improved her appearance and returned her canonical outfit — mod
Enthusiasts decided to improve the remake of Silent Hill 2 and released two mods at once to correct Maria's appearance. The first made the heroine prettier, and the second returned the revealing outfit from the original.
The fan addon Maria Face Change adds softer and rounder facial features to Maria than in the remake. The mod has already received a lot of positive feedback from users, but some asked to improve the model, so an updated version may be released soon. You can see Maria's new face in the screenshots below.

Another add-on returns the heroine's canonical outfit from the original. The author even placed the butterfly tattoo in its original place. For now, the mod uses vanilla physics and the textures may lag a little, but the developer intends to fix this in the future.

Earlier, enthusiasts transferred the android 2B from NieR: Automata to the remake of Silent Hill 2. And another user removed the fog from the game and allowed to examine the streets of the deserted city in detail.
