Game designer Masahiro Ito, who worked on three Silent Hill games, shared another interesting fact about himself. It turns out he knows how to prioritize — at least when it comes to work.

The author of Pyramid Head's design shared on social media that he had no personal life during the development of the Silent Hill series up until the cancelled title — he studied and worked too hard:

By the way, all the time I was studying at an art university or working on Silent Hill 1/2/3 and the cancelled title, I never had girlfriends. Because I didn't have time for it.

Masahiro Ito explained that the only way to maintain an advantage over competitors is to dedicate yourself entirely to work. Another small fact about himself was revealed by the childhood of the art director of Silent Hill: it turns out that he lived in such a poor family that he could not even buy oil paints to study painting at the university. Therefore, he had to pick up tubes in the corridors thrown out by other students. And Masahiro Ito learned 3D modeling and animation during the development of the first Silent Hill.

By the way, he also participated in the creation of the remake of the second part, joining the Bloober Team.

Recently, the remake of Silent Hill 2 received its first major patch with fixes and optimization.
