CD Projekt RED showed festive art in honor of the 17th anniversary of The Witcher
The Witcher and the entire series celebrated their seventeenth anniversary — it was in 2004 that many fans of The Witcher first became acquainted with the franchise. In honor of this, the CD Projekt RED studio released new art with Geralt, marking the significant date.
The Witcher did not become a hit of its time and is not outdated in the best way, but it was this part that gave rise to one of the most successful game series. However, new players will still be able to touch the classics in a new wrapper. Since 2022, an official remake of the first part has been in development on the Unreal Engine 5. The project is being developed by Fool's Theory, whose team includes the creators of The Witcher.
CD Projekt RED recently celebrated the ninth anniversary of The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone with another festive poster. Meanwhile, the DLC for The Witcher received a fan remaster on the engine of the third part.
