Today, it was announced that American actor and screenwriter Tony Todd, the star of Candyman and Final Destination, has died. He also voiced several characters in games, including Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Dota 2.

Tony Todd gained worldwide fame for his role as Candyman, the antagonist in the horror series of the same name. Many also remember the actor as pathologist William Bloodworth from Final Destination. In addition, during his career, he played various characters in films such as The Crow (1994), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Night of the Living Dead and other films.

Tony Todd was also actively involved in voicing video games. He voiced Venom from Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Viper, Balanar, and Davion in Dota 2, and the Vortigaunts in Half-Life 2: Episode Two and Half-Life Alyx. He also appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, where he played Admiral Briggs.

The singer passed away on November 6, the cause of death was not disclosed. Tony Todd was 69 years old.
