Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 released on PC and Xbox Series X/S to negative reactions on Steam
Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studio have released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X/S, and the game is now available on Game Pass. However, it has received overwhelmingly negative reviews on Steam, with the rating standing at just 14% at the time of writing.
Many players are complaining about the built-in launcher, which downloads files very slowly due to overloaded servers.
In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, gamers will embark on an aviation career, honing their piloting skills. The game features multiple modes and cross-platform multiplayer (with a single-player option as well).
Among its highlights, developers point out the enhanced physics system and the meticulously detailed digital replica of the Earth.
«Improved digital terrain maps, over 500 cities in TIN (Triangular Irregular Network) format, and more than 100,000 square kilometers of rural photogrammetry create stunning digital replicas,» reads the description.
