As you may know, Remedy Entertainment is developing remakes of the first two Max Payne games. According to recent statements by CEO Tero Virtala, these remakes will boast «superior quality.»
Our primary goal is clear: to create an excellent Max Payne Remake.
The studio has also confirmed that Rockstar Games, which owns the rights to Max Payne, will be handling the marketing. Consequently, Rockstar will cover all related expenses.
The CEO of Remedy Entertainment mentioned that the project already meets Rockstar Games' expectations, and the studio cannot afford to make any mistakes.
Details about the Max Payne remakes are expected to emerge next year. It is worth noting that back in August, the developers announced they had reached a significant milestone in the deveMax Payneopment process.
