Independent studio Talking Drums has announced the start of an open beta test of Trench Tales, a gothic shooter set in the First World War, but with supernatural enemies and abilities. Testing is available to all interested players.
The events of Trench Tales unfold in an alternative France, devastated by war. The player will need to explore the mysterious Verdun with its trenches, swamps and wastelands, fighting creepy creatures with the help of mystical forces and firearms. The developers also promise a diverse arsenal, a large variety of locations, destructibility and flexible weapon settings.
By the way, the Talking Drums studio is headed by 3D artist Alexander Ponomarev, who worked on Prey 2017, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
You can apply to participate in testing Trench Tales on the Steam page. There is no exact release date for the game yet.
Earlier, a demo version of Dynasty Warriors: Origins appeared on Steam, in which the player has access to the first large campaign with a battle.
