PlayStation veteran Shuhei Yoshida leaves the company
Shuhei Yoshida has decided to leave PlayStation after 31 years with the division. Notably, he served as the president of PlayStation Studios from 2008 to 2019, before transitioning to head the PlayStation Indies department, responsible for indie games.
Yoshida began his career at Sony in April 1986. Regarding PlayStation, he was one of the first to join the division. In February 1993, Shuhei Yoshida served as the lead account manager and also headed the third-party licensing program for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
Shuhei Yoshida will leave the company on January 15, 2025.
Currently, PlayStation is led by Hermen Hulst and Hideaki Nishino.
