Path of Exile 2 has been released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S
The free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile 2, one of the most anticipated projects of 2024, has launched in early access on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version is now available on Steam.
Set in the dark world of Wraeclast years after the events of the original Path of Exile, Path of Exile 2 offers players access to 6 out of 12 classes (Monk, Ranger, Warrior, Mercenary, Witch, or Sorceress), 3 out of 6 story acts, dozens of bosses, and hundreds of monster types. While the game is free to play, players can purchase one of three supporter packs: Early Access Supporter Pack, Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack, and King of the Faridun Supporter Pack, each containing in-game items.
As expected, the launch of Path of Exile 2 has been extremely successful. At launch, the peak concurrent player count on Steam reached 439,472. Additionally, 86% of the initial reviews have been positive.
