Modder Fixes Some of The Witcher 3's Quests to Make Them More Logical
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has plenty of problems with logic — for example, you can play gwent with Lambert while attending Vesemir's funeral. Modder Freak decided that this was too much, and reworked some of the quests, making the heroes' actions more justified.
The Unreasonable Plot Redesigned addon affects the «Stranger in a Strange Land» quest and the «Reason of State» story mission. In the first mission, Geralt fails to save the warrior Jorund from death, who gave him an order to hunt ghosts at the lighthouse. The witcher's blunder seems very strange — given his reflexes. Therefore, the modder added an extra animation, where Geralt slips on a bottle that got under his foot, which Jorund's killer takes advantage of.
In the «Reason of State» quest, if the player chooses Roche's side, Freak adds more Dijkstra supporters to make the battle with the politically important figure really difficult. In addition, the battle is now watched by Philippa Eilhart in the form of an owl. Geralt will not be able to kill Dijkstra in battle — the spy is smart enough, so he will flee the battle when he reaches 10% health. At the same time, Philippa will try to kill him.
The mod will also affect some missions with gwent. Now it will be impossible to play with Lambert at Vesemir's funeral, the Bloody Baron after killing the botchling, and Crach an Craite after the berserkers attack and Geralt's refusal to help his children.
