Covenant: A Soulslike Action Game Announced by Former Call of Duty and Doom Developers
Legion Studio has announced a first-person soulslike action game called Covenant, set in a dark fantasy world. The game will feature a single-player mode, co-op, and PvP multiplayer.
The events take place in Wilder, a large interconnected world with multiple kingdoms. The protagonist is a celestial envoy tracking the angel Malak, who has fallen into the Abyss.
The combat system includes multiple stances that determine attack types. Additionally, there is a leveling system, weapon upgrades, Metroidvania elements, and hardcore bosses. Other features include puzzles and numerous secrets to uncover during gameplay.
Notably, Legion Studio comprises individuals who have previously worked on the Destiny, Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Doom series.
Covenant already has a Steam page, allowing players to add it to their wishlist. The game is also planned for release on the Epic Games Store.
