Microsoft Announces Showcase Featuring Doom: The Dark Ages, New Fable, and More

Microsoft has announced a new Xbox Developer_Direct showcase, promising fresh looks at Fable, Contraband, Avowed, Doom: The Dark Ages, and more. The show is set for January 22nd.
Avowed, the RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, is slated for release on February 13th. Doom: The Dark Ages and the fantasy RPG Fable are both expected to launch before the end of 2025. A release date for the co-op action game Contraband remains unannounced.
As a reminder, The Game Awards 2024 recently took place, revealing numerous trailers and announcements, including The Witcher 4, Elden Ring Nightreign, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Turok: Origins, Project Century, Steel Hunters, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Okami Sequel, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, and more.
