Gothic 1 Remake Developers Reveal How Long It Will Take to Complete the Game
In a recent interview with GameStar Talk, Alkimia Interactive CEO Reinhard Pollice said that Gothic 1 Remake will be quite long compared to the original. It can take up to 120 hours to complete.
Recall that the classic Gothic required players to spend only 30 hours with a full map clearing and completing all quests. Meanwhile, the remake will take 50-60 hours on average, but players can stay longer:
This expansion was achieved thanks to large locations, new quests (like an expanded Arena), and other activities. In addition, the development of in-game rooms affected the passage time — you can now get to the tower of Xardas by stairs, and not by teleport.
Recall that the release of Gothic 1 Remake is scheduled for spring 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
Earlier, the developers shared new screenshots of the remake, showing locations familiar to fans of the original.
