New Trailer for Half-Life: Blue Shift and Opposing Force Fan Remaster Released

The modding team Tripmine Studios has presented a new trailer for Operation: Black Mesa. The mod is designed to restore the add-ons of Half-Life: Opposing Force and Blue Shift on the Source engine, as it was with the fan Black Mesa.

The trailer shows the future gameplay for Adrian Shepard, the protagonist of the original Opposing Force, who was part of the team clearing the underground complex. The mod will also feature a second campaign for Barney Calhoun, a security guard at Black Mesa. As the developers promise, the project will offer many gameplay and graphic improvements, more than 30 unique enemies and 18 types of weapons. Moreover, Tripmine Studios plans to expand the storyline and even add the ability to create mods based on its add-on.

The project does not have a release date yet, but it can be added to the Steam wishlist.

Recall that a new chapter of another fan remake of the Half-Life add-on on the Source engine was recently released. And recently, the prologue of Project Borealis was released on Steam — a demo version of the continuation of Half-Life 2 from fans of the series. In addition, new rumors have appeared about the Half-Life 3, which Valve is allegedly already testing.
