New Game Demo From Dragon Age Creator Coming In January
Mike Laidlaw, a former BioWare studio and one of the creators of Dragon Age: Origins, has revealed that a demo of his new game will be released soon. You can try out Eternal Strands in January.
It’s January, so I’m pleased we can say we’re going to release a playable demo of Eternal Strands on Jan. 21st on Steam. Lots of folks have been asking about one, and it’s a game that benefits from “feeling” it, I think. store.steampowered.com/app/1491410/...

According to Mike Laidlaw himself, he is extremely excited about the upcoming release. The project was not a large company of hundreds of people, but only 60 employees of his own studio Yellow Brick Games. Let's recall that in 2017, the developer left BioWare and moved to Ubisoft Quebec, and in 2020 he founded his own company.
Eternal Strands is a third-person fantasy action adventure game in which the player, as a girl named Brynn, must fight various enemies and return the home to her people. According to the developers, the game will feature a revolutionary gameplay system and an interesting magic system. Eternal Strands can already be added to the Steam wishlist, and the release will take place on January 28.
Recall that a new rumor about the sales of Dragon Age: The Veilguard recently appeared. According to insider information, they turned out to be disappointingly low. Nevertheless, the project got into the top most optimized PC games of 2024.
