NFS: Underground 2 Remake Demo on Unreal Engine 5 Released on PC
The TUFU team has a surprise for NFS fans for the holiday weekend. The developers have released a free demo of their unofficial remake of Need for Speed: Underground 2 on Unreal Engine 5.
This is not the first such project that fans are working on. For example, enthusiast NostalgiaNexus recently showed what the remake of Need for Speed: Most Wanted on the same engine will look like. However, the port of the 2005 race to UE 5 will have to wait a little longer, but the remake of NFS: Underground 2 can be tried out right now. The gameplay demonstration is below:
The demo is available for download at this link. The TUFU team did not announce the release date of the full version of the remake, but it is likely to be the end of 2025.
Recall that in December, the actor who plays Razor in Need for Speed: Most Wanted hinted that Electronic Arts might personally take on the remake of the iconic racing arcade.
