Elden Ring: Nightreign to Remove Iconic FromSoftware Game Mechanics
It's Nightover: the developers of the co-op Elden Ring: Nightreign have announced that they will be removing the ability to leave messages from players. The iconic mechanic turned out to be excessive for short sessions.
The feature was very popular in FromSoftware games, as it not only dispelled the feeling of loneliness, but also allowed you to help and even troll other gamers. For example, with false messages about treasure under a deadly cliff. But as game director Junya Ishizaki told IGN Japan, due to the short sessions in Elden Ring: Nightreign, players simply won't have time to read messages.
Recall that Elden Ring: Nightreign will be released this year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The project will allow teams of players to explore locations with generated content, exploring the map during the day and fighting bosses at night. You can read more details here.
It was recently announced when testing will begin for the new FromSoftware game.
