Transformers: Reactivate Gameplay Leaked Online After Game's Cancellation
After news about the cancellation of the co-op shooter Transformers: Reactivate, a gameplay excerpt from the game appeared online. Presumably, the recording shows a build on the Unreal Engine 5 engine.
The game had quite a few leaks before, but early videos were recorded on the Unreal Engine 4 engine. Apparently, at the production stage, the UE version was changed for the project and they began to remake the shooter from scratch. This is especially noticeable in the latest gameplay video — the build is replete with unfinished textures:
Splash Damage studio did not say why they decided to cancel the project. Most likely, some of the game's developers will be redirected to other projects, and the staff itself will be cut. Let us remind you that Transformers: Reactivate was announced back in 2022 for PC and consoles.
