The city-building RPG simulator Airborne Empire has launched on Steam, set in a skybound world

Developer The Wandering Band LLC and publisher Stray Fawn Publishing have released a new city-building RPG simulator, Airborne Empire, in early access on Steam. Initial reviews on Steam are positive, with a 90% rating at the time of writing.

In the game, players will construct their own cities right in the sky. Additionally, they can manage their cities by adjusting lift, balance, and thrust.

"Sky pirates may disrupt the tranquil city life, and your task is to protect your city and the ground kingdom from these villains' devastating attacks", — reads the description.

Key features include a vast open world, numerous diverse biomes, unique physics for airborne buildings, memorable characters, various in-game secrets, and an unusual setting.

Airborne Empire is available for purchase on Steam for $27, with a 10% discount valid until January 27.
