Players awaiting the release of the RPG Avowed from the creators of Fallout: New Vegas and The Outer Worlds have encountered unexpected changes on Steam. The project briefly disappeared from libraries, and the Community Hub was hidden along with it.

Several users on Reddit reported that the game disappeared from their list on Steam after pre-ordering. In addition, the Community Hub Avowed was disabled for an unknown reason. Confirmation of this can be found in SteamDB — the service shows that the changes occurred a couple of days ago. The line about the release in early access on February 13 was also removed.

Many players suspected that the release of Avowed could be postponed for some time, as was already the case last year. However, a few hours later, Obsidian Entertainment got in touch and confirmed that the game would be released in a month.

In the meantime, the Community Hub Avowed on Steam has started working again as before. The early access release date also remains the same. Some gamers have already confirmed that the game has reappeared in their libraries.

Recall that the release of Avowed is still scheduled for February 18, 2025 for PC and Xbox Series X/S, as well as in Game Pass.

Recently, the developers of Avowed revealed the features of completing quests. In turn, gaming publications published the first previews, praising the new Obsidian project, which has already found itself at the center of a scandal.
