Valve Releases Major Patch for Deadlock — What's Changed?

The competitive MOBA shooter Deadlock has received one of its biggest updates yet. Valve continues to experiment with the game, which has the potential to become an esports title.
What’s Changed?
- Major map overhaul – now features three lanes instead of four;
- A map exploration mode has been added to the main menu;
- Soul collection mechanics have been adjusted – players no longer need to land the final hit on creeps if they’re nearby;
- New animation for flying souls;
- Default sprint speed increased from 0.5 to 1;
- Added support for DLSS and FSR 3;
- Tick rate increased from 60Hz to 64Hz;
- Abrams' model has been updated, and other heroes have received improved ability visual effects.
You can check out the full patch notes here. Valve previously stated that future Deadlock updates will be larger in scale but will also take longer to develop.
Deadlock is still in early development and does not yet have a release date.
