Gamers have noticed that yet another PC title has quietly dropped its Denuvo protection. This time, it’s the horror game Slitterhead, which launched on Steam exactly six months ago.
Slitterhead comes from Silent Hill and Gravity Rush creator Keiichiro Toyama. Set in the fictional city of Kowlong, the game follows a vengeful spirit as it uncovers the truth behind a metropolis crawling with monsters disguised as humans.
On Steam, Slitterhead holds an 80% user rating, though critic reviews have been less kind—the game sits at 62 on Metacritic.
Just recently, Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven also had its Denuvo DRM removed.
