In the game The Quarry, you'll encounter unusual monsters that can infect the counselors with just a bite. In this guide, we'll show you how to infect all the story's characters.
Note that there are three characters you should not infect during the story, as they will be infected according to the plot. These are Laura, Max, and Nick.
If you manage to infect all the other characters, you'll earn the rare achievement Blood Pact. Below we explain how to do this.
Abigail can only be infected in this chapter, as there will be no other opportunity. After the bonfire scene, follow Nick and talk to the guy by the fallen tree. When a monster attacks Nick, help him, and when the shooting starts, run.
As soon as the game gives you the choice to Climb the tree or Hide, choose the latter option and fail the Hold Breath event. Stop holding the button shown on the screen so that the monster finds and hits the girl. From this moment, Abigail will be infected.
When the girl finds herself on an island in the middle of the lake, head to the treehouse. Collect all clues and change clothes (first interact with the bag). When you open the hatch leading to the attic, a werewolf will attack the heroine. Use the stun gun, then take a photo of it.
After that, you'll need to successfully complete a QTE. When Emma encounters the monster again, use the spray can to repel the monster.
Once inside the house, barricade the door and climb up the ladder to the attic. When the werewolf tries to grab the girl, fail the QTE so it hits her. This will be enough to infect Emma.
In this chapter, Dylan and Ryan head to the radio booth to send an SOS signal. If you kicked the door in cottage 10 in the first chapter, the friends can hide in it and won't attract the monster's attention. At the same time, the werewolf will grab Dylan's hand when he reaches for the torn wire. Since you're playing as Ryan, you can choose: Amputate Dylan's hand with a chainsaw or Use the shotgun. Choose the second option to infect the guy.
In the third chapter, returning from the lake dock, Jacob will stumble upon a hunter named Billy. Politely ask the man to let you down, and when he tries to pour blood on the boy, use the opportunity to Throw mud. If you don't do this, the monster won't be able to infect Jacob in the sixth episode.
Returning to search for his girlfriend, Jacob and Emma will encounter another werewolf. When Emma falls into the water, run forward and fail the QTE scene so the monster injures the boy. When you reach the scene where the man gets caught in a bear trap, choose Open instead of Pull. This way, the infection will spread through the body faster, and Jacob will be infected.
To avoid killing Ryan prematurely, do not remove the knife from his chest in the previous chapter. Successfully complete all QTE scenes and run away from Billy. When he catches up to the boy, choose Stab with the knife. This will weaken the hunter, leading to his eventual death. He won't be able to stand against the turned Chris, and he will kill the man.
The girl will offer to infect Ryan. Agree, and when you have the opportunity to remove your hand, ignore it.
In the same chapter, Dylan and Kaitlyn will head to the junkyard to find parts for the van. Upon reaching the loader, lower the car and watch the brief scene.
At this moment, Dylan will notice that the monster is approaching the girl. Do not lift the car, or Kaitlyn will die. Instead, warn her about the danger by sounding the horn.
As soon as she gets inside the car, lift it up and choose Hit the car. Kaitlyn will fall out of the vehicle, and all you need to do is fail the QTE scene. In this case, she won't die but will be infected.
