In Once Human, there is an impressive world that you will regularly have to traverse, expanding the boundaries of unexplored territory. Sometimes, exploration can be quite dangerous, especially considering the multitude of monsters. To simplify this, there is fast travel, but this seemingly familiar mechanism in the game has a number of features that are useful to know. In this guide, we will talk about fast travel in Once Human.
First of all, you need to progress through the story. To do this, escape from the monolith where the game begins. We advise you to look around carefully, as even at this stage, you will encounter many chests with useful equipment and resources along the way. Once you manage, move to Mitsuko's house. The building will be attacked by a Siren almost immediately. Before defending, inspect the premises and open a few more chests. As a result, you should have enough resources to craft a crossbow. This is a weak weapon, but it is sufficient to defeat the Siren.
Once the fight is over, continue the story until you are given a quest to visit the monolith ruins to gather supplies. When you meet Mary, she will give you a weapon blueprint. Return to the base, and you will be able to use fast travel.
You will not be able to travel to any point on the map. The teleport works only between special towers, which still need to be activated. Travels also consume energy, which is spent more the greater the distance. The exception is returning to the base. This you can do from absolutely any point on the map. It is important to note that fast travel has a cooldown time of 10 minutes.
