Dragon Age: The Veilguard — How to Find All Evanuris Altars

One of the additional activities in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the search for altars that players can discover while exploring open locations. In this guide, we will provide detailed information on the location of all the altars in the game and review each location so that you can easily find them.

This forest hides four altars that you need to find. We are ready to help you in the search by providing detailed map markers and instructions describing their locations.

The altar is located near the ruins of the eleventh floor, directly opposite the coast. Note that access to it will open only after completing the initial story quests in Arlathan Forest. The path to this altar should not cause you much difficulty, so just follow the marker on the map. The landscape here is quite friendly, and you can enjoy the atmosphere of the surrounding nature.

In the southeastern corner of the wooded area, you will find a small ledge where the altar is hidden. Upon arriving at the location marked on the map, look around carefully — the altar is covered by a rock, which may make it difficult to find.

In the area located directly east of the second altar, you will need to start one of Davrin's side quests to gain access to the third altar. After activating the quest, go through the ruined building. Pay attention to one of the broken walls — this is where you can lower a ladder. The altar will be right behind you.

Located in the northwestern part of the area marked on the map, it unlocks after completing the siege of Weisshaupt. Here you will find the last altar, which is situated on a small island in the middle of a branching river.

In this location, as in the forest, you will be able to find four altars.

In the area that connects the hero to the second dock, you will need to solve a statue puzzle to create a bridge. This bridge will be your guide to the first altar, marked on the map below.

Follow the path leading from the first dock, which is locked behind the «Corrupted Gates». You will need to defeat the Venatori boss to gain access to the corner with the altar. After you defeat this enemy, the passage to the altar will open.

Head north into the open area where you will see several stone columns rising above the void. Here you will need to solve a statue puzzle to open a bridge to the farthest island. This is where the altar, marked on the map, awaits you.

Follow the path leading from the third dock, and soon you will find this altar. It is located on a rock towering over the ruined city. To reach it, you need to climb the path that runs below.

In this location, you will be able to find only one altar, which is located in the catacombs under Dock Town. However, to activate it, you first need to clear the room of all enemies.

In the wetlands, you will be able to find two altars, each offering its own unique puzzles.

It is located in a large castle at the southernmost part of the location. To access this altar, you will need to progress through the story to unlock a side quest that will lead you to this place. The altar is located at the far end of the castle and is locked behind charms that need to be dispelled using Bellara's ability.

In the far southeastern area of the Hossberg swamps, you will find an altar located in the area of a ruined castle. To access it, you will need to progress through the story and unlock the corresponding quests. Note that this altar is quite easy to miss, as its base is hidden behind a mountain of boxes.

On the coast, you will be able to find the last three altars that will complete your collection and allow you to gather all fourteen shrines in the game.

After completing the quest to recruit Taash, a new area on the high ground located right in front of the fort location will open. Head to the large waterfall in this area, and then climb to the top of the cliff using Lucanis' ability. The altar will be located in a cave next to a chest.

In the northern part of Rivain Coast, access to which will only open at the very end of the story, you will find an altar located on a small rocky area. It is located just around the corner from the fast travel point, making it quite convenient to find.

In the magma cave, which you can access during the final Taash quest, you will find a lava pool. Here, players can use Harding's power to raise stones from the lava. Using this ability, create a path of stones that will lead you to the altar marked on the map.
