How to farm resin in Towers of Aghasba
In the first hours of playing Towers of Aghasba, gamers will have to collect resources to build a farming village. One of the key materials for this is resin, which is not so easy to find in the surrounding areas. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find resin and successfully establish your first village.
Planting Trees
Resin can be obtained by cutting down trees, but for this, you need to find a certain type. To get resin, you will need fresh trees growing in close proximity to the Colossal Tree. To collect more efficiently, you will need to master the art of planting trees, which will allow you to obtain this valuable resource in unlimited quantities.
After Kalkin instructs you to gather materials to build the first farming village, don't waste time searching for resin by cutting down other types of trees. Instead, head to Pavel, the farming expert. He will provide you with King Tree seeds, which you can use to plant the Colossal Tree.
Once the Colossal Tree is planted, you can plant new trees using temperate climate seeds, and some of them will automatically appear around its perimeter. When the trees grow, you can start chopping them down to collect resin.
How to Chop Down Trees
Chopping down trees is quite simple; all you will need is a stone axe. Although it cannot handle every tree, you can chop down a few. To craft a stone axe, you will need a few basic resources that can be found on the ground and in bushes:
- Two stones (Stone)
- Two sticks (Stick)
- Three fibers (Fiber)
Once you've created the axe, approach a tree and press the E key to start chopping. However, it should be noted that resin will not drop from dead trees — they only provide wood. If you want to plant more trees in a temperate biome, simply place temperate climate seeds around the perimeter of the previously planted Colossal Tree. In a short time, the trees will sprout, increasing your chances of obtaining resin.
Once you've collected enough resin, you can return to Kalkin and hand over all the necessary materials to complete the construction of the first farming village.
