Playing as a character in a look you like is a pleasant pleasure that increases interest in the playthrough. Modern technologies even allow you to completely change its appearance, substituting another hero or using a special outfit. Anyone can add a custom modification to MiSide, as no special technical knowledge is required. Let's consider what steps need to be taken for this.
First, you need to open the MiSide page in the Steam launcher library. There, click on the settings icon and select Manage — Browse local files.
Among many other files, we are only interested in the section called Data, which stores the necessary information for the horror to work. We open it.
We specifically go to the Custom directory, which contains the character's looks data.
Just add the folder with the skin we need for Mita there. It will appear in the game as a style to Mita's standard look.
If you do not have 3D modeling skills but want to create your own skin, you can play around with the original look. Open the Original folder, where the corresponding files are stored in .png format, import the part you need into Photoshop and edit the color scheme in various ways (brush, fill by area).
Do not replace files in the Original directory under any circumstances: just add a section next to it in the same way.
If you want to fully develop your own outfit, you will need the ability to use Blender or any of its analogs, as well as knowledge in the field of modeling. The Mita template can be downloaded from various sites or obtained from the game files. For example, you can download it using this mod posted on our website.
You can choose the option you like in the special section on our website, which presents most of the custom modifications, as well as special instructions if installation requires additional settings.
