Mortal Kombat 2 Producer Shows What Shao Kahn's Throne Will Look Like in the Film

A fresh snapshot from the set of the film Mortal Kombat 2 has appeared online. The film's producer, Todd Garner, who previously showed Shao Kahn's hammer, has now published a photo of the Emperor of Outworld's throne.

«My new chair finally arrived,» joked the producer on his social media. Users also noticed tennis balls mounted on spikes — most likely done for safety during filming.

Let us remind you that Shao Kahn will be played by British actor Martyn Ford in the new adaptation. He could be seen in the series Those About to Die and the ninth Fast & Furious movie.

The film is scheduled to premiere on October 24, 2025.
