DC unveils full trailer for anime Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League
DC has unveiled the full trailer for the anime Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League. In addition to the main characters (the Dark Knight, Robin, and Nightwing), the trailer showcases a host of other characters, including a female Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash, James Gordon, and more.
The anime is set to release in 2025 in digital format and on Blu-ray. The screenplay is penned by Kazuki Nakashima, known for his work on projects like Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, the 2018 Batman Ninja, and Promare.
The plot sees Batman transported to an alternate Japan, where he faces off against the Justice League, who have become Yakuza.
All key characters will be voiced by Japanese actors. For instance, Batman will be voiced by Koichi Yamadera.
The anime is being produced by Warner Bros. Japan and DC Studios in collaboration with YamatoWorks, Barnum Studio, and Kamikaze Douga.
