Netflix has released a new trailer for the second season of the series Squid Game, which is set to premiere on December 26th this year. The trailer showcases both new characters and returning ones from the first season, including Seong Gi-Hun and The Front Man.
The series is set in South Korea and centers around an unofficial show with a massive cash prize. People facing financial difficulties are invited to participate, but their lives are at stake as each challenge contains deadly traps.
It's worth noting that Netflix has also confirmed a third season of Squid Game, which will conclude the story.
To recall, the first season premiered in 2021 and became a massive hit. It holds an IMDb rating of 8.0.
