Jabba the Hutt's Son to Be Played by Jeremy Allen White in The Mandalorian and Grogu

The cast of The Mandalorian and Grogu continues to grow. According to Variety, Jeremy Allen White will portray Jabba the Hutt’s son in the upcoming film.

This marks White’s first major franchise role. He is best known for playing Lip Gallagher in Shameless and Carmy in The Bear. His performance in The Bear earned him both a Golden Globe and an Emmy.

The film is being developed by The Mandalorian creators Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver are also set to star.

Filming has wrapped, and the movie is set to premiere on May 22, 2026.
