Insider: Marvel Working on Punisher Series with Jon Bernthal

According to a statement from movie insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel is working on the return of another popular series. We are talking about the Punisher, and the main role will again be played by Jon Bernthal.

Not long ago, the actor tried on a familiar image for filming in the new show Daredevil: Born Again. The start of the series about the Devil of Hell's Kitchen is scheduled for March 4, 2025, and Frank Castle will somehow show himself in the first season. However, Marvel decided not to limit itself to a «guest role» and took up the development of a separate show about the Punisher, if rumors are to be believed.

It is noteworthy that back in 2023, another well-known insider, MyTimeToShineHello, reported this. In addition, the head of the Marvel TV division Brad Winderbaum also spoke about the future of the Punisher/Frank Castle in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Earlier, there was a rumor about the return of Ghost Rider played by Nicolas Cage to the MCU. The actor will also play the main role in the series about Noir Spider-Man from Amazon and Sony Pictures Television.
