Filming Begins for Superhero Movie Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow with Jason Momoa as Lobo

Filming for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow kicked off this week in London, UK, and will also take place in Iceland. The cinematographer for the project is Rob Hardy.
The lead role of Supergirl will be played by Milly Alcock, known for her role in the series House of the Dragon.
Jason Momoa is also set to star in the film, taking on the role of Lobo. Interestingly, he previously played Aquaman in the DC Universe. Additionally, the movie will feature a superpowered Kryptonian dog named Krypto.
The director of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is Craig Gillespie, known for films such as Cruella, The Finest Hours, and Fright Night.
The premiere is expected on June 26, 2026, with filming scheduled to continue until May of this year.
