The cult classic RPG-action game with stealth elements, Alpha Protocol, originally released in 2010 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, has made a comeback in digital sales. The game was developed by Obsidian Entertainment.
It's worth noting that in 2019, the project was removed from sales at the request of the publisher (SEGA) due to the expired music license. Now, the game has returned and is available on GOG, where it is currently being sold with a 10% discount.
Additionally, Alpha Protocol has gained support for modern controllers (Dualsense, DualShock 4, Nintendo Switch Pro, and Xbox Series X/S gamepads), compatibility with new operating systems, and cloud saves. Moreover, the game also features a licensed soundtrack and achievements.
As a reminder, Alpha Protocol is based on the Unreal Engine 3. The story follows special agent Michael Thorton, who must prevent an impending international catastrophe.
