Fresh information about iOS 18 continues to surface online, which is officially expected to be unveiled at Apple's June presentation. According to Bloomberg, the new version of the OS will be the largest update in the history of the software.
The update will primarily focus on artificial intelligence based on Google's and OpenAI's neural networks.
Insider Mark Gurman reported that iOS 18 will finally allow users to change the placement of icons freely, similar to Android. In simple terms, users will be able to leave spaces and empty columns on the home screen.
It is assumed that the neural networks integrated into iOS 18 will serve as an AI assistant, helping with writing texts, recording audio, etc. Details are not yet disclosed. According to the insider, users will be able to download the new OS in September after the announcement of new iPhone models.
