A new race was found in the World of Warcraft files, which is not yet in the game
Data miners discovered in the World of Warcraft files a new race that is not yet in the game — Harronir. The creatures resemble a mixture of trolls, elves and venthyr.
The models were found while studying the War Within alpha build. Models have wide customization options — fangs, fur, animal-like limbs, hairstyles, and the like. Judging by the large number of details and elaboration, the race is almost ready to debut in the game. It is noteworthy that the developers did not mention the Harronir during the announcement of the War Within expansion, so these creatures may appear in later DLC.
You can study the models in more detail here.
As the data miners themselves suggested on the Wowhead forum, the new race could become an ally. The basis for this guess was that NPCs from past expansions with a wide range of customization usually did not belong to enemy factions.
Let us remind you that earlier a special mode for arachnophobes was announced for World of Warcraft, which disables the display of all spiders on the map. They are going to introduce it with the War Within DLC, in which the arachnid race will appear.
