Rod Fergusson says Diablo could be getting a movie adaptation
April 21, 2024, 12:45 PM
Diablo 4 producer Rod Fergusson has confirmed that the game series could get its own movie adaptation like the The Last of Us and Fallout. It «definitely could work,» he said.
Journalists from Windows Central asked the producer of the fourth Diablo if Blizzard would like to follow the example of its competitors from Bethesda and make a series based on the universe. Rod Fergusson responded to the question with enthusiasm:
He also noted that he had previously been captivated by the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners based on the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, forcing him to return to the game.
Earlier, amid the success of the Fallout series, journalists asked Todd Howard if Bethesda was planning an adaptation of The Elder Scrolls series.
