Gamers decided to express their protest against the closure of Tango Gameworks by massively inflating the rating of Hi-Fi Rush on Steam. In the reviews they ask Microsoft to come to its senses.
In positive reviews, players express their condolences to the closed studio and praise Hi-Fi Rush, while calling on Microsoft to change their mind and bring back the creators of the game:
This game is more creative and has way more soul than ALL Xbox projects. It's one of the best I've ever played.
Unlike Microsoft, we value the studio.
A great game from a great studio that was killed by corporate ignorance. RIP Tango Gameworks, thank you for your artistry.
Users began leaving similar reviews on the Prey page on Steam. Arkane Austin, also closed by Microsoft, was responsible for its creation.
Let us remind you that on May 7, Microsoft decided to close four Bethesda studios at once. The list included Arkane Austin (Dishonored, Prey, Redfall) and Tango Gameworks (Hi-Fi Rush, Ghostwire: Tokyo, The Evil Within series).
