Ubisoft showed off the hidden blade in detail in exclusive art for Assassin's Creed: Shadows
The developers of Assassin's Creed: Shadows launched an «alternate reality game» (ARG), offering fans to solve several puzzles. For this, Ubisoft sent locked chests filled with riddles to several bloggers.
The author of the YouTube channel Access The Animus completed the game in about two hours. To do this, he had to pick a lock, solve a couple of ciphers, and carefully study a map of Japan — both feudal and modern. As a reward, Ubisoft shared exclusive concept art.
The art showcases the hidden blade device (similar to the one in the third part), as well as landscapes of Kyoto, Iga, and Tamba.
The task that the blogger completed will continue at the Ubisoft Forward presentation, which will take place on June 10.
The release of Assassin's Creed: Shadows will take place on November 15 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
