Fallout 4 has added a grim location that exists in the real world
Fallout 4 received the Boon Island mod, which introduces a brand-new location to the role-playing game — Boon Island. It is the first mod in The Isles Of New England series.
The mod adds a small island to the RPG with three mini-locations, including a fully functional settlement, underwater points of interest with various loot, a short story quest with custom voice acting and additional goals, as well as music from older Fallout games. Using a terminal, the player can dispel the fog, reduce waves, turn on the lighthouse, and more.
The authors noted that Boon Island, located in the game between Boston and Far Harbor, is a real place with a tragic history: from shipwrecks to cannibalism, fires, and diseases. You can see what the mod looks like in the videos and screenshots.
