BioWare: in the new Dragon Age, companions can romance each other
Game Informer has published another article on Dragon Age: The Veilguard — this time discussing the relationships between characters. According to the developers, The Veilguard will be BioWare's most romantic game.
Unlike previous installments in the series, players will be able to enter into relationships with any party member. The authors note that each romance will be different: one character is straightforward, while another will feel awkward because they haven't had a partner before.
Interestingly, a cool attitude towards a companion may push them towards another party member. In other words, party members will be able to start romances with each other, although it is unclear how exactly this will be implemented.
Previously, BioWare detailed the combat system and leveling, as well as equipment features.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released in 2024 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. The exact release date will likely be announced in August at Gamescom 2024.
