Larian Studios has published the details of the seventh patch for Baldur's Gate 3. Here are the main changes:
- Dynamic split screen: the cooperative mode can be configured so that split screens merge into one if the characters are close to each other;
- In the Honor mode, several opponents will have new legendary abilities. For example, Dror Ragzlin will now be able to control spiders;
- Full-fledged modding toolkit. Players will be able to create new items, races, and classes, change the interface, and much more;
- New cinematics for the Dark Urge playthrough, including endings. Additionally, a playable bard can temporarily join the hero;
- Numerous fixes related to Wyll, Karlach, Astarion, Gale, and Shadowheart.
After this, despite promises to end support for the game, the developers will release at least one more patch. Larian plans to add crossplay and photo mode, as well as improve gameplay and optimization.
Closed testing of the seventh patch will begin on July 22. To participate, you need to request access on the game's Steam page.
