The creator of Garry's Mod, Garry Newman, stated that he received a DMCA strike from the creator of Skibidi Toilets. This happened a week after Michael Bay announced his desire to adapt the popular web series.

The complaint states that the author of Garry's Mod uses assets belonging to the authors of Skibidi Toilets. At the same time, the series is created in Source Filmmaker based on Valve models, which publishes Garry's Mod. «Can you believe the cheek?» Newman wrote on his Discord.

It is worth noting that the strike was sent on behalf of the company Invisible Narratives, which is headed by Michael Bay. The author of Skibidi Toilets Alexey Gerasimov has already announced that he is not involved in the strike and asked for Garry Newman's contact information.

Skibidi Toilets started releasing in February last year. At the moment, the creator's YouTube channel has 43 million subscribers.
