The appearance of the new PlayStation 5 Pro has been revealed online

Reliable insider billbil-kun published a note with fresh details about the PlayStation 5 Pro. Below you can see the design of the powerful console — photos cannot be shared, so here is a sketch.

The most noticeable change will be three stripes on the sides of the device. The previously released PS5 Slim looks roughly the same, so billbil-kun suggests that the old side panels will fit the new case as well. By the way, the case itself will be slightly thicker.

The PS5 Pro will come in the already classic black and white color with the old DualSense controller. The front panel will feature 2 USB Type-C ports and a power button. The insider only saw the «digital» version of the console without a disc drive, so it is still unclear whether there will be a standard version with a drive.

According to billbil-kun, the PS5 Pro will be announced in the first half of September. Perhaps the console will be shown in the latest episode of State of Play, which Jeff Grubb recently talked about.
