James Gunn denies rumors of development of Batman game with Robert Pattinson
Yesterday, a former journalist for The Hollywood Reporter published an article in which he reported that Warner Bros. is developing a game based on the Batman directed by Matt Reeves. DC Studios CEO James Gunn denied this statement.
Users asked him on social networks whether the rumors about the creation of a game based on the Matt Reeves universe were true. The studio boss responded negatively.
So far, the only confirmed game project about Batman remains the VR action game Batman: Arkham Shadow. Recently, the developers from Camouflaj showed a new trailer and gameplay for the Dark Knight.
As for the sequel to Batman, the continuation of the story of young Bruce Wayne will be released in 2026. Robert Pattinson will return to the leading role again. Also in the works is the series Penguin starring Colin Farrell, which will premiere on September 19.
