Yesterday (September 4), the full release of the real-time strategy game Age of Mythology: Retold took place, and it received very positive reviews on Steam. The rating at the time of writing this news is 92%.

The project is an improved remaster of the original Age of Mythology from 2002, which features updated graphics and revamped gameplay.

The game includes several campaigns with dozens of missions based on popular myths and legends.

«Besiege the unyielding walls of Troy, battle giants on the vast icy wastelands of Midgard, and uncover the secrets of Osiris hidden beneath the shifting sands of Egypt. Become a hero sung about in songs... or even a god», — the description says.

In battle, players can summon gods from different pantheons (Greek, Norse, Egyptian, or Atlantean). Additionally, there is both a single-player mode and online multiplayer.

Age of Mythology: Retold is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
