New unconfirmed details about Dragon Age: The Veilguard have surfaced online. The information was shared by streamer nuhre, who has 4,000 subscribers on YouTube and claims to have spoken with a game tester.
Once again, we emphasize that this is unverified information — consider this note as a rumor.
- The leak's author tested The Veilguard in October 2023. According to him, the game is filled with «wokeness» — for example, the protagonist's companion, the Qunari Taash, directly identifies as «non-binary»;
- The tester claims that he told his superiors that the line about non-binary identity sounds too modern and unnatural, but this comment was refused to be passed on to the developers;
- Another companion, a Grey Warden named Davrin, is a novice who hasn't completed his training. The tester asserts that despite this, the character can influence the order's decisions «because he has a different skin tone»;
- A male character can only romance two female characters: the dwarf girl Harding and the investigator Neve Gallus. However, if the protagonist uses a different pronoun, more romantic options become available;
- The elf Solas no longer plays an important role in the story. Overall, the tester called the plot disappointing;
- The game has several endings. The tester also mentioned the appearance of the main character from Dragon Age: Inquisition and Morrigan;
- The player cannot ask Morrigan about her past, and her appearance is allegedly controversial;
