It has been revealed when filming for the Supergirl movie will begin

Filming of the movie Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will start in January 2025 in England. This was announced by James Gunn, head of DC Studios, at New York Comic-Con.
The film will be directed by Craig Gillespie, who directed the films Dumb Money, Cruella, and The Finest Hours. The screenplay was written by Ana Nogueira. The role of Supergirl will be played by Milly Alcock, who played young Rhaenyra in House of the Dragon. The film is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
