The Witcher 3 Gets a Remaster of the Official Expansion from the First Witcher
The Price of Neutrality, the official expansion for the first Witcher game, has unexpectedly received a fan-made remaster. A modder named Lisu used the REDkit tools to port the DLC into The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The mod includes the full storyline, including side quests. In the DLC, Geralt arrives at Kaer Morhen for the winter, but instead of a peaceful rest, he finds a group of soldiers outside the fortress. It soon becomes clear that this is the work of the sorceress Sabrina Glevissig, who is hunting down a runaway.
The mod can be downloaded here. According to the modder, no AI tools were used, and all voice acting is taken from the original expansion.
Before this, a fan-made expansion for The Witcher 3 was released, in which Geralt can take a ride on a hot air balloon.
