Now you can fly in a hot air balloon in The Witcher 3 — a fan-made expansion has been released for the game

A fan-made expansion called Song of Wind is being prepared for The Witcher 3. It will add several new quests, one of which will send Geralt on a journey in a hot air balloon.

Currently, the mod includes only two missions, as the author wanted to participate in a themed contest by CD Projekt RED. In the current version, Geralt meets a professor who is trying to find the mysterious Whispering Island. To search for it, the scientist has created a special type of transport that lifts its owner high into the sky.

You can download the modification here. In the future, the developer will add new missions that will complete the story.
